Google's Privacy Policy

Google's services are subject to the Google Privacy Policy, which explains how Google processes information across its products.

YouTube API Services

YouTility uses YouTube API Services to retrieve public YouTube data needed for tools (for example, video titles, statistics, and public comments). Use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.

We request only what each tool needs for your request. We do not ask you to paste secret keys in the browser for these features; access is configured on the server side.

Comment analysis and Gemini

When you run comment analysis, the service sends relevant text (such as the video title and public comment text that remains after your filters) to Google's Gemini API to produce structured insights (themes, sentiment-style breakdowns, etc.). That processing is subject to the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service, the Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, and Gemini API usage policies.

Model improvement: Whether content submitted through the Gemini API may be used to improve Google's models is controlled by settings in your Google AI / Cloud project where the API key is created—not by this website. Check your Google account and project documentation for the current option and description.

What we store and for how long

Analysis requests are processed to return results to your browser. We do not maintain a user account system for these tools. Server logs may include technical metadata (such as timestamps and error signals) needed to operate and secure the service; we avoid writing full comment text or prompts to logs in production where feasible.

If you download exports (for example, PDF) or copy data from the site, those files stay on your device under your control.

Analytics

We may use privacy-preserving analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic. See Google's documentation and your browser controls for opt-out options that apply to those products.

Revoking access (Google account connections)

If we introduce features that connect to your Google or YouTube account, you will be able to revoke the app's access from Google Account permissions. Revoking access here does not delete content on YouTube; use YouTube for that.
